2. Conclusion of the contract

Only Akep-branded products are offered for sale on akep.it; the seller does not sell used, defective, or substandard products. The essential characteristics of the products are presented on the aforementioned website within each product page. However, the images and colors of the products offered for sale may not correspond to the actual products due to the Internet browser and monitor used, and no exceptions can be made by the consumer in this regard.

4. Modification and updating of the General Conditions of Sale
The General Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time, also in light of possible regulatory changes. AKEP WARRANTY CONDITIONS

AKEP products come with a full two-year warranty to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship.

If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it (subject to availability) free of charge or refund the customer, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, laundering, normal wear and tear, or the natural deterioration of colors and materials that occurs over time and with prolonged use. What are the conditions of the AKEP guarantee?

To evaluate the warranty, the consumer must return the product to the AKEP retailer where it was purchased, showing the original purchase receipt. If the item was purchased from the AKEP online store, you must provide the order number as proof of purchase and provide photos of the defect in question. If my item is not covered by warranty, can you still perform repairs?

Accidental damage such as rips, tears, burns and holes are not covered under the terms of our warranty.

Currently, a repair fee will be charged for repairs of items not covered by our warranty. The company reserves the right to assess in advance, on a case-by-case basis, whether the repair is feasible and manageable.

Will my AKEP product be repaired, replaced, or refunded?

If your AKEP product fails to function or is damaged due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will repair or replace (subject to availability) that item or issue you a refund based on the nature of the damage.

Do I have to pay shipping to return an item under warranty?

  • I purchased my product from the AKEP online store:
    AKEP covers the shipping costs for items covered by our warranty.
  • I purchased my product from an authorized AKEP dealer/AKEP store:
    The store will evaluate the type of damage on a case-by-case basis and, once the defect is verified, will be required to collect the damaged item. The customer must attach proof of purchase that complies with the legal warranty terms (2 years). Only if the two conditions above are met will the store send the damaged item to the relevant AKEP department, and AKEP will repair/replace it and ship the repaired product to the authorized store's address or to the AKEP store.

AKEP covers the costs for items covered by our warranty. For items not covered by the warranty, a repair fee will be charged.
