Una sfilata-evento in Puglia celebra l’unione tra Akep e Zero&Company

The knitwear brand Akep staged a special event to unveil its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Villa Ascosa in Trani was chosen for the fashion show and the subsequent secret party attended by several celebrities. Over the years, the brand has established its artisanal supply chain as Made in Italy, from concept to finished product.

The runway featured both women's and children's wear, divided into four main themes: longevity and wild, representing the earth, in warm, delicate tones and portraying an elegant, feminine model. The other two themes, luna park and night in town, portray a woman with an explosive, dynamic personality who prefers sexy clothing. The runway featured the Argentine influencer Cecilia Rodriguez and the actress Anna Safroncik . At the end of the fashion show, before the gala dinner served on the seafront, guests enjoyed a performance by the singer. Bianca Atzei .

The evening also seals the professional partnership between Akep and Zero&Company , a textile company specializing in the production and distribution of men's, women's, and children's clothing. After diversifying its business by adding the brand to its own brands, Suns has acquired a majority stake in the Akep group. The event marks two important anniversaries: next year, Zero&Company will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, and Akeb will celebrate its first ten years. The presentation of the spring/summer 2023 collection anticipated the celebrations for these two milestones.

“Now we are consolidating the Italian market and in January we will be ready to show in Milan – declares the CEO of Zero&Company in a note, Pasquale Vendola The deal with the brand will focus on two key factors: accelerating brand recognition through targeted marketing strategies with significant investments in communications, and establishing agreements with international distribution partners aimed at creating an even greater allure around the brand. Over the next three years, we will increase Akep's revenue to at least 30% of the entire company's turnover.
